FISSURE

Fissure is an unrealized project designed as a modernist mountainside retreat intended to blend in to the natural flow, form, and tone of the landscape. The design would allow for the landscape to grow completely over it, so that the dwelling seems like a fissure between the natural strata formations. A cool spot for lounge lizards to lie lazily and soak up the calm.
